My grasp of Roman numerals is not that good, but it looks like the olympic rings and 1960 - the 1960 Olympics were held in Rome.
Wonder if the Vespas were part of the pre-match entertainment?
fun aside .... those guys were "pilots" ... they helped as guides to get the olympic teams as well as media and others to the places they wanted to go... anyone who has been in Rome knows that such a "pilot" is worth his weight in gold
here was me thinking I would be the sole scooter rider in the area haha. Waiouru here I come in December and just when I got rid of my white one piece :). At least any scoot passing through the desert road will have a pit stop/crash house if needed. All will be welcome :)
