You forgot the best one, George! They are also big scooter fans! You occasionally see the "George" Bella around town. A good station for those that like Peter Urlich, Bevan Keys and similar funky and jazzy house beats.
you left off national radio. i listen to it the most. and a certain excellent professional scooter mechanic seems to have it on often in his workshop too.
brodie
either Bfm, or the TV in the shed with whatever music channel on it.
National is good allday listening
tv in shed with dvd player, old ska and if the scoots not going together right ,bit of punk goes down well just as your about to hit the scoot with a hammer again.
gazzer
ZB weather, car smashes, Larry Williams for sarcasm. National with Phil and James during Xmas holidays. Radio Watea for music drive to work when don't want to think about polytiks.
Can I get a FREEEEDOOM!!!!!!!!!!!
is all I have to say
Musically I am stuck in a bit of a time warp so like listening to Hauraki. No idea what BFM is us yocals down here dont get that station. Like listening to Clash, Punk and anything else with attitude though also listen to a fair bit of Northern. Dont like any of that modern crap. I must be getting old.
Please no Jurassic (classic) HITs it is too scary
My parents listen to it ahhhhhhhhh
99 all the way bring on the rock
thought you would be watching easy rider in your garage mandl??

Entry level
Particularly over summer - drinking beer, tinkering with a scooter, and listening to cricket on the radio. What more could you want?
Musically - I've got a crap stereo in the basement, but you can plug the iPod in - any tunes you want.
but I never turn it on.... it is always too noisy in my head to hear anything ....................
105.4fm coast, is the best station, lots of good oldies for those of use who can remember them and at least you can understand the words, good for karaoke especially if no-one is listening in!!!
listening to your misses squork at you i gess.( i had a wife once, ha ha)
Feral John.....
The ONLY pirate radio station in the world to get a land based licence - and some of us remember when it started 40 years ago - all very naughty and daring at the time. Pity we couldn't get 1480AM in Wellington all the way from Auckland soooo remember
Growing old's compulsory, growing up isn't!
to Rhys' disgust I listen to NEWS TALK...
The Beeb, or National Programme as it used to be quaintly called. The guy on Saturday mornings is great - or bfm. I can't abide being shouted at by advertisers so most commercial radio gets the finger within minutes. bfm makes the cut because the in-house created ads are just as quirky as the rest of the programming. But the best thing ever is a newly-aquired collection on CD of BBC Radio 4 panel game 'I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue'. It's hosted by former jazz trumpeter Humphrey Littleton, with Barry Cryer, Graeme Garden, Tim Brooke-Taylor and (until he died) Willie Rushton, or other guests.
They are just mind-bogglingly quick and brilliant and get away with the most risque jokes. Introducing a round called Fisherman's Book Club ("Captain Corelli's Manta Ray"; "Lady Chatterley's Lobster"; "Great Exaggerations" "Three Men in a Bloater" etc), Humph - who always makes jokes about the scorer - "the lovely Samantha, who is always ready to look after the team's points" - said she had just slipped out "to enjoy a portion of local winkles in cider".
I have a telly in my shed, not reconmended while using the lathe
Sounds like you have a good setup there Gazzer...wish I had a shed with electrickity

If it don't have guitars in it, I don't want to know. After all where else can you leave your wireless tuned to get Floyd, The Who, Zepp and Soundgarden?
60million people in the UK and we don't get a single decent radio station.....Xfm? Don't make me laugh.*
*Ok Radio 5 live, 606 excluded.
