Informal ride this Saturday 23rd February for anyone keen for an afternoon spin North.
Destination: Stanmore Bay, Whangaparoa (excuse spelling) for a late lunch/afternoon tea (aka Larvo Tea???)
Meeting Point: Honeywell @ 12 noon
Intended Route: Decided once Scoots assembled and cc ratings established

In addition to the togs you might need a snorkel based on the weather forcast. Sorry cant make it as I'm flying but will call you if I see any sharks!

A bit torn on this one - stink rain to ruin a ride, but fantastic for farmers, gardens and water tanks ;o)

aviation forecast notes widespread heavy rain especially developing North of Albany with winds gusting 35 knots.
I'm not flying today. Will stay home and polish the scoot!

Rained, wind and wetted out Im afraid folks.
I had troubles staying on at 8.30pm last night - fantastic cross wind.
A re-secheduled date will be posted soon.
