PUKEKOHE CLASSIC SCOOTER RACE - Labour Weekend 2008

I know you have heard this all before (2006 Scooter fest conflict and 2007 MNZ licensing rules change), but we are 99% confirmed to participate in the Labour Weekend NZCMRR event. So keep either the 25 or 26 of October free please, I suspect we will be on Sunday the 26, but will confirm. The NZCMRR is a classic event, which will rule out any automatic scooter, PX Vespa and Belladonnas are OK as they are based on a 1977 design. Scrutineering will apply on the day. I will confirm cost etc... when info comes to hand.

Differences compared to last time in 2005 when we participated - We will not be a "demonstration event", we will be an official race, therefore for those with no MNZ licence a "day licence" will be issued. This will mean a grid start, no pace car and hopefully more than 4 laps.

This is not a track day, by that I mean a practice day, so this a rare and seldom available opportunity to go hard on Pukekohe in a race environment amidst classic motorcycle enthusiasts.
