BRONZ 26th Annual Toy Run, Saturday 6th of December, 2008
Supporting the Salvation Army
Yep! It's that time of the year again: you just can't miss this years BRONZ Toy Run. Bring some much needed light to the lives of those less fortunate this Christmas. RAIN or SHINE! Bring your gift unwrapped and join the fun. A BBQ will be cooking at BMW (start point).
Yes the Ulysses site does mention,"down town". This could be decided on the day as there are comprehensive road works/delays, on the northern side of the bridge which was not anticipated at the time of writing. johnD
Seldom when on the m/way did the bikes exceed 100ks, be they heavy metal or plastic rice. The poor motorist seemed to be having the most problems having to accommodate so many bikes going in all directions. Great run and a good turn out.
Being a BRONZ ride it is as per my initial post to the North Shore. Apparently the Ulysses's website is behind the times and using info from 2 years ago (as per Lars @ BRONZ) as they intend to always use this destination (Warehouse etc...)
So there you have it - as per my post above to the North Shore Warehouse head office.

Finishing on the Shore, the Downtown is a bit crowded and tight. I tend to agree.

Good to catch up with the Magnetos, lovely weather.
The scoots are better than the mocycles in the congested bits and it was awesome being on a SCOOT amongst all the heavy metal.
Cheers to all
