November 22 Taupo track day is now 70% full, for those interested we have about 7 - or 8 scooters heading down. Contact Kevin at Scooterworld or myself if any detail required, otherwise go to www.MotoTT.co.nz website to book a place
Scooters will participate in the Slow class.
Trackday Information:
Venue: Taupo Motorsport Park - track 1 (full track - 3.5km).
Entry: Main Entrance Gate 1 off Broadlands Road.
Date: Saturday 22nd November 2008
Rider fee: Prepaid: $125 (Direct credit or cheque).
Due date Monday 17th November 2008.
Pay-on-day: $150 (cash only).
Riding Groups: (20 minute sessions)
Group 1 - Fast (includes supermotards)
Group 2 - Fast to medium speed (excls supermotards)
Group 3 - Medium speed riding
Group 4 - Slower speed riding
Schedule:
8.30am to 9.40am: Registration & scrutineering
9.45am to 9.55am: Rider's briefing
10.00am to 12.40pm: Riding sessions (fast group first)
12.45pm to 12.55pm: Free trackday prize draws
1.00pm to 4.30pm: Riding sessions (fast group first)

I am working on it
I am sure that I am not that slow, but the beauty of the event is when we race against the 400 and in some cases 600 cc incompentent riders, (novice class), despite their ability to go rather fast past us down the 800m straight us, scooterist gain tremendous satisfaction clawing our way through the field until we make it back to the main straight, much to the big bikes frustration, very few, if any manage to lap us down, and the whole viscious cycle repeats it self. And kevin always looked more than respectable even down the straight.

after a days racing at Taupo, we are retiring to a night of camping and festivities at the best kart track we have available to us. Casual riding the next day, no formal programme and only us there to get in the way. should be more than enough racing for anyone
Anyone is welcome to spectate or enter in the track time
Caza and Alan, must be time for another mission in the camper??
