Bludger no more

Shooting though my membership fee tonight so I can become a Patched/Badged/Stickered/Scarfed member, no more tyre kicking!
After the last two runs I'm looking forward to the 50cc runs coming up.
Awhitu 110+- kms one way wooooo hoooo!!?? I've never been on a two tank ride, Hell I don't even no how far 1 tank goes before it coughs (says a lot about my experience), should be a laugh!?!?!?!?!

Don't worry about what type of scooter you have there are all sorts of machines and levels of experience and the club members are open and friendly so there is never any pressure to ride beyond what you are comfortable with.
The "Ride Captain" of the day keeps everyone informed and riding sort of together, with plenty of smoko stops.

i ran out of gas last night. i was stuck on a small wedge of road between gt nth rd and a motorway off ramp in peak hour. good times
hopefully my fuel gauge will be working again for the awhitu run.

please excuse the lack of capitalisation - also having keyboard issues. its not my week.

I seem to recall you having pushed scooters before in your scootering career!

Yup, all scoots can come on Awhitu Ride but it a 50cc route and speed zone that we are travelling in - so bigger scooters fall in behind the 50cc's :). Tiddler adventurers are up for it.

Nice to have you on board! :) And I liked your encouraging words to others to join up too - nothing like 'word of mouth' from someone who has experienced a few rides with the club. Cheers. Yup Awhitu is going to be a challenge for the 50cc's - will be great. I hear that a new/old 'bashed up' 50 will be joining the ride too - look out for it.
