Haley suggested we go to "Sturgis" for part II of our Honeymoon! : 0
So I went "sweet, I'll organize it!" ; )
I did give her one chance, a week latter to change her mind. : )
Plans started January 2010 for Honeymoon August 2010

You lucky lucky things! We
You lucky lucky things! We expect a full show & tell with a Powerpoint presentation when you come back.
You obviously haven't been married long - on the rare chance you get a surprise call going your way you never ever give the chance for minds to be changed. ;-)
I love the smell of 2 stroke in the morning
Been told
That it gets hot like you wouldn't believe, even on a bike, in fact hotter, no roof or aircon.
One tip i read was that a windscreen is good, the reason being that riding without one the air is so dry/hot that it makes your perspiration cook on your skin.
Drink Gatorade type products more effective than water.
If you can travel with others -do so-safety in numbers.
Thanks Old Mod
Do have a windscreen(stuck it on the wall as a rag dispenser) but don't like it or the idea myself. We'll see it all, in the hot parts we'll travel early, on the road by 4-5am to miss the midday heat. (and to see snakes and lizards and other animals)
Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota - It should be, between 15˚c - 30˚c
Yellowstone National Park - As high as 27˚c and could also snow.
Same as Grand Canyon and Bryce National Park.
Death Valley - Can get as hot as 91˚c and is below sea level
Yosemite National Park - As we come over the back of Yosemite we ride over 3,000 meters (10,000 feet) above sea level, the day after Death Valley. Mt Ruapehu is about 2,750 meters above sea level.
We will be wearing; Full face helmets, heavy leather riding jackets, riding gloves & boots, draggin jeans, sock & undies & T-shirts and long johns for the cold parts.
Will drink heaps of Gatorade though.
Anymore advice would be appreciated.
Best advice
Have a Krispy Kreme glace donut and say "this one's for Old Mod".
I just luuuuve all the "bad , great junk things to eat" in the States.
Dont ever "give the finger" when on the road, it could be dangerous.
You will be glad to have EFI at those altitudes.
Have an amaaaazing time.
Haley Rocks....
Haley rocks, got her full motorcycle licence today in the fog and rain! To keep a promise to my Mum. That she would get it before we go on our Harleymoon, which Mandl will be picking us up in a couple of hours for the first leg. Yayyayayayayayayayayyaayayyyayayayayayayayyayaay YAY!
Well done, no easy time of it this week.

advise
my advise:
when at Sturgis - spend an evening at the "Full Trottle" ... when at Full Throttle - check the show of the "Flaunt Girls"
when checking the "Flaunt Girls" ... get a bacon cheeseburger and hand it to Bree aka "Mia Bigtease" and tell her it's from her Kiwi Twin :-p .
... this should buy you some free drinkies !
