market research will settle this..
Dear Magnets administration, please start a poll

thought i would seperate this out of the other thread.....one vote for number 4, thankyou!

Something to ponder, a scooter that makes 30 rear wheel HP at only 4000rpm and probably revs to 8000rpm, is going to make considerably more peak power - consider the virtual plateau of torque and a peak power of 45hp..... delicious

the questions.

1. Would you buy a classically inspired Modern Lambretta with gears and 30hp available at 4000rpm?

2. Would you buy a classically inspired Modern Lambretta with an automatic gearbox and 30 hp at the rear wheel at 4000rpm.

3. Would you buy a classically inspired Modern Lambretta with gears and 30hp available at 4000rpm in four stroke form?

4. Would you buy a classically inspired Modern Lambretta with gears and 30hp available at 4000rpm in 2 stroke aroma form?

5. Would you buy a classically inspired Modern Lambretta with an automatic gearbox and 30 hp at the rear wheel at 4000rpm in four stroke mooing cow form?

6. Would you buy a classically inspired Modern Lambretta with an automatic gearbox and 30 hp at the rear wheel at 4000rpm in two stroke (swarm of angry hornets) form?

So can you explain how it would have any claim at all to be called a Lambretta? Apart from being an attempt to cash in on the goodwill attached to that name?
