The joy of Christmas expressed by the club in our annual Christmas Lights Ride - meeting 8pm at Burger King on Mt Wellington Highway, close to Sylvia Park's Pak 'n Save. Collect your tinsel, find a reindeer costume and get ready for the last fun ride of the year.

When staying with friends in Hawaii we stopped at a roadside hotdog vendor who was selling Reindeer hotdogs !!!!

So sorry folks - that mad rush of things happening at the end of the year has caught up on us - we haven't finalised a few of the impt things like the route yet (I know, we are rather late in getting it sorted!) but if you can all have patience and we hope to sort everything out including the start meeting place by Tuesday evng.
Will post update on Wednesday morning so keep your eyes peeled for the update on the website and decorate your scoots :)

Well, Magnetos has had a great offer from Vespababe who is both a Magnetos member plus a WIMA member - she has invited Magnetos to join with WIMA for their Christmas Lights ride and they have a great route sorted out in the Eastern suburbs with some real Christmassy highlights and new places that we can stop and walk through so Magnetos have said "Yes, we would love to join you."
So, note the new date - it is now on Monday, 20 Dec '10 meeting at 8pm at Burger King on the Mt Wellington Highway which is close to Sylvia Park's Pak 'n Save. You will have time to get a burger or two as the WIMA crew will meet up with us at 8.30pm and we will ride together on a great Christmas Lights ride :).
Yep, decorate your scoots, come along and have some fun.

Its over an hour away from me just to the start point with this one and its not looking as tiddler friendly as last year.

...but alas from Friday I will be sitting on a waterfront balcony in Paihia, sipping on something alcoholic after having ridden Mary there. I've delegated the transportation of luggage to my wife and kids, who can bring it all up in the cage...Merry Cristmas to ya all, and if you're passing Busby Mannor in Paihia (next to the stone church), do pop in. We're in the front RH unit.
Mom Dad, my sister Rosie her husband and seven kids, along with our lot are heading up on Friday as well, we will be staying the weekend, don't worry about food we will bring our own and have lots of mats and sleeping bags, see you when we get there. Looking forward to a catch up. I hope the dog will be ok, a friendly labrador /great dane cross. Slobber is his name after some of his habbits.
